The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is a nonprofit charity that plays a critical role in advocating for children in foster care, emphasizing the urgent need for loving, permanent homes. More than 140,000 children are currently waiting to be adopted throughout the United States and Canada, with over 20,000 aging out of the system every year without a stable family to support them. Unfortunately, these children are at a higher risk of facing severe challenges such as homelessness and unemployment as they transition into adulthood.
